Skinning and digital art seem to just becoming more and more mainstream. WinCustomize has a Japanese version, new skinners and artists on many different sites, Skinartisrty has a tutorial class in a few days, WinCustomize added personal user pages... what else can happen in the future?
Well... Look at the Save This.com folder created just for The Art and Skin Report Skintendo by Hippy
Hippy of Skinplant has made a wonderful new Windowblinds skin called Skintendo. Now this skin is pretty cool. One reason why is because it breaks from the traditional skins of today by giving users a different shape for a skin
The skin has a Nintendo like button pad for opening/closing/expanding windows and some other features as well. The over all scheme and design captures the 80's game boom and the actuall game box that was the symbol of the game boom taking off.
I know you guys remember Donkey Kong and Q-Bert. Pac-Man who???? Sonic the Hedgehog was on the Sega Genesis but you get the picture.
If you don't like the bulky default skin, then use the more normal sub-skin. It also comes with 80's game wallpapers for it as well.
Pretty cool game!! Its not that hard to play it either. All you have to do, at first, is use your arrow keys to jump, duck, and run to... where ever this kid is running to. Watch out for that tree!!!!
The game leads you in nicely. It don't take that long to download in from the internet and plays in the web browser. *cough cough* Now if you have Netscape Navigator 7.2 as your browser, you can let it load up and browse another site until its done all within the same window (end Netscape plug). Nice graphics too for such a small game. I thought it was going to be really cheesy and it only ended up being somewhat cheesy. I mean, lets face it, jump, duck, and run? LOL
Anyway, its still cool. Love, and I mean, love the train part. The sounds are cool too. You guys should really take a look at it and play it at work while your boss is not looking or otherwise screwing you in the buttocks.

These scenes of fierce battle start with a message for all who view that this was made by Razoric.com. A promo carefully carried by clouds with strange creatures on it
